Delete your Postermap account

Use this page to delete your Postermap account and the data we hold about it. You can do the same in the app: Settings → Delete account.

What is deleted

• Your account and your sign-in.
• Every poster that was backed up to your account (places, text, style and layout).
• Your poster count (how many posters you have made), and the records of your requests.

What stays

• A marker of the phone, not of you: a one-way hash of its Android ID with a note of how many free posters were used on it. It holds no name, email or account id. It stops a deleted account from being used to get the free posters again, and it is kept for as long as that is needed.
• Posters on a phone stay on that phone until you remove them there or delete the account in the app.

A subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) first, or you will keep being charged.
